Description
Burton, Texas — Destination Burton invites locals and visitors to slip into their favorite white linen and experience an evening of small-town charm during Wine & Wander White Linen Night on Friday, March 20 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM in historic downtown Burton.
Inspired by the beloved New Orleans tradition, this relaxed evening event encourages guests to dress in all white or classic white linen attire and stroll through Burton’s participating shops and businesses. Along the way, visitors can enjoy shopping, signature drinks, curated stops, and festive touches inspired by the spirit of New Orleans.
Wine & Wander White Linen Night is designed to celebrate Burton after hours, inviting guests attending the Antique Show to slow down, sip, and explore the unique character of this historic Texas town. From boutique shopping to friendly conversation, the event highlights the welcoming hospitality and vibrant local businesses that make Burton a special destination.
“This event is about creating a fun, easygoing evening where people can gather, wander through town, and experience Burton in a festive way,” said Tiffany Eckhardt with Destination Burton, the nonprofit dedicated to sharing the town’s history, charm, and local experiences with visitors.
The event is free and open to the public, making it the perfect excuse for a casual night out with friends, a date night, or a break from the crowds at the Antique Show. Start at the Texas Cotton Gin Museum to get your map of participating businesses.
Guests are encouraged to dress in white, wander the town, and celebrate Burton with a touch of New Orleans flair.
