2026 Annual Banquet

Join us for the Chamber Annual Banquet on April 9, 2026, at 6 PM at The Novo - Downtown Caldwell. The event will review the past year, set future goals, recognize volunteers, and present awards. Enjoy a social hour with music and a meal, and hear from community members who have contributed to the Chamber's success. This year's featured speaker is John Lowery, the owner and artist behind the Humble Donkey studio located in Round Top.
 

John R. Lowery is a business man and an artist. Design At Work, a Houston-based marketing and branding firm, is the first business he started in 1990. The second is Humble Donkey, an art gallery located in Round Top featuring his work, was started in 2016. His earlier career included being an illustrator for two different NASA contractors as well as an Art Director for an advertising agency.

Over his 40-year career John has been involved in helping hundreds of businesses grow in both B2B and B2C markets. He has enjoyed assisting community growth as a board member and chair for several entities and served as a board member and President of the Round Top Area Chamber of Commerce for 5 years.

John and his wife, Laurie, make their home on a 60-acre piece of land located in Burton, Texas. The couple has one daughter and a 10-month-old grandson. John and Laurie enjoy hiking and touring the country in their RV
