SUICIDE PREVENTION AND AWARENESS GROUP TO HOST FOURTH ANNUAL CONFERENCE FOR THE COMMUNITY \;

\n\nBrazos Valley\, TX&mdash\; \;The Brazos Valley Coalition on Suicide Prevention is hosting their Fourth Annual Conference on Suicide Prevention and Awareness - &ldquo\;Surviving The Storm: Navigating A New World&rdquo\; being held virtually on November 4th\, 2021. \; The goal of the conference is to address the immense scope of issues related to mental health and suicide prevention. Throughout the conference\, participants will formulate discussions surrounding our community banding together to end the stigma around mental health and suicide across the Brazos Valley\, state of Texas\, and the world. While getting an in-depth look at action that is being taken in our communities\, audience members will gain insight into prevention strategies\, education and outreach opportunities\, support services and helpful resources available throughout the state and nationwide to aid in breaking the stigma.

\n\nParticipants will be joined by an outstanding lineup of speakers from across the country\, and intersectional workshops\; as well as powerful family stories of support in the wake of suicide loss. This event is free for all community members near and far\; however donations are always appreciated. CEU&rsquo\;s are being sponsored by Symetria Recovery for LPC&rsquo\;s\, LCDC&rsquo\;s\, and Social Workers (5 hours) with registration being $15. Additionally\, Texas Juvenile Justice Department training hours (5 hours) will be offered for this training for the same registration fee of $15.
